TOGETHER FOR MUSIC 2026 – THE MUSIC FOR YOUTH FESTIVAL FOR D/DEAF, DISABLED AND NEURODIVERGENT YOUNG MUSICIANS
We are delighted to announce Together for Music, a specially designed inclusive music festival is back for 2026!
This festival promotes groups of all abilities within the deaf, neurodivergent and disabled communities.
This year Together for Music will take place as part of MFY's National Festival on
FRIDAY 10TH JULY 2026 AT CBSO CENTRE IN BIRMINGHAM
Supported by Trinity College London's Awards and Certificates in Musical Development (ACMD) qualification, in association with the Sounds of Intent programme, the festival promises to empower and inspire everyone involved.
If you lead an inclusive music group, come and join us for the opportunity to perform to a live audience in a relaxed environment, and get involved in inclusive, interactive, music making workshop opportunities.

SOUNDS OF INTENT ONLINE TRAINING
Before taking part in Together for Music, group leaders will also have the opportunity to attend a free CPD webinar delivered by Trinity College London in partnership with Music for Youth, led by Adam Ockelford, founder of Sounds of Intent.
Explore how Trinity's Awards and Certificates in Musical Development (ACMD) are built on the internationally recognised Sounds of Intent framework to support inclusive, learner-centred progression.
Those attending and completing the free CPD session will become qualified to deliver the ACMD, with the £300 centre validation fee also being waived.
