Meet our Music Mentors

Our mentoring programme is one of MFY’s most unique aspects, ensuring that all musicians who participate in our programme receive constructive feedback and developmental input to their musical journey. Our fantastic team of Music Mentors are the ‘eyes and ears’ of Music for Youth, inspiring and supporting the young performers at our events or via our digital Mentor Connects programme to take forward their music-making artistically and technically.

A great musician isn’t necessarily a great mentor – but all our mentors are truly great musicians! We work with professional working musicians who are inspirational, knowledgeable and versatile in working across a multitude of instruments and genres.
