Performance Workshop
with Andy Stott and the RNCM Session Orchestra
In this
lively, open workshop rehearsal you can expect to play and sing well-known pop repertoire alongside emerging professionals. The Royal Northern College of Music Session Orchestra is the first ensemble of its kind in a major UK conservatoire. The 40-piece orchestra (rhythm section, strings, brass, percussion and vocalists) brings together musicians from both the classical and popular degree programmes, providing them with industry standard training and professional performance opportunities.

Led by: Andy Stott and The Royal Northern College of Music Session Orchestra 

Duration: 1.5 hours 

Time: 1.45pm

Location: Town Hall

New to this year’s National Festival, the MFY Festival Hub, located in Symphony Hall, will gather teachers, young musicians, their friends and families. As well as an exhibition space, the hub will be bustling with performances, Q&A sessions, digital sound games & more!
