Piece on a postcard is a rhythmical piece designed to engage absolutely anyone in a musical activity.
There are five grooves which can be used together or on their own, as a clapping based piece or with instruments. The notes with stems down should produce a low tone - you might do this by patting your stomach. The notes with stems up should produce a high sound such as a hand clap.
Download the teaching resource and the score using the buttons below then take a look at an introduction to the piece from one of our Music Mentors Rob Farrer as well as some clips of people playing the instrumental and clapping parts.
Then all that's left to do is have a go, and most importantly, have fun!
