As part of an ongoing partnership between Music for Youth and the National Union of Teachers (NUT), we have commissioned a suite of resources that are aimed at non-specialist teachers and leaders teaching music to 6-11 year olds.

Infinity Back to Bass Resource Pack

Back to Bass is the BRAND NEW free downloadable resource written to support creative music making in the primary school classroom, generously sponsored by the NUT. This resource is designed for both specialist and non-specialist primary teachers and provides tips and a step-by-step project teaching guide for collaborative composing from the bass line up.

Infinity LIVE Workshops

Infinity LIVE is a series of music workshops based on the Infinity resource packs.

Follow this link to see photos from the Infinity LIVE workshops that took place on Tuesday 5 July 2016 in Birmingham. This exciting day of music making included:

  • Hands-on music workshops in the CBSO Centre led by Richard Frostick - teacher, workshop leader and choral director.
  • Tickets to Music for Youth's National Festival where classes watched groups of inspiring young musicians perform in Birmingham's most prestigious concert halls. This was either watching some of the UK’s most exciting choirs in the Town Hall or infant & junior groups in Symphony Hall.
