Do You Remember?
2.4 million participants over 40 years - were you one of them? As part of our increasing commitment to the MFY alumni community, we’re opening our archives from past Music for Youth events and want to hear from you too.

A part of our celebrations for the 40th anniversary of Music for Youth, we want to reach out and connect with the vast global MFY alumni, in order to fully celebrate the rich history of Music for Youth. The last minute nerves, back stage antics and euphoric performances - get in touch and tell us it all. Feel free to share your anecdotes on our Facebook page, or via email.

After 40 years, Music for Youth continues to provide peerless performance opportunities for young people across the UK. Every year over 100,000 participants get to perform live, witness exhilarating concerts, take part in inspirational workshops and gain valuable advice from our team of Music Mentors.
None of this would possible without the support of our sponsors and the generosity of individual donors, a large proportion of who took part in the MFY season during their own youth. Support the next generation – DONATE TODAY.

As part of the 2010 Schools Prom, past and present participants who are part of MFY's 40 year history, performed an especially commissioned composition by Tim Steiner.
