Primary Prom

The Music for Youth Primary Proms provide primary school children with the opportunity to experience live music in major concert halls across the UK, and encourage their involvement with music.

Taking place across the country throughout the year these inspirational free concerts are performed by young people, for young people, providing first hand experience of live music-making in a fun and engaging environment.

What happens at a Primary Prom?

Once you've taken your seats among the hundreds and sometimes thousands of other children, teachers, and parents, our presenter will guide you through the concert, giving you information about the groups performing, the music they're playing and also the instruments they're using. (There may even be opportunities for you to join in!) Your job? Get excited, get involved, and most importantly, have fun!
