With over 50 festivals across the country between January and February, and open to groups of any style and standard under the age of 21, our Regional Festivals are a platform for young musicians to perform, share their music, listen to other local groups and get advice from our team of professional Music Mentors.
Exchange is the chance for young musicians (and those who support them) from across Scotland, to be seen, heard, and inspired in a day (or days) of workshops, panel sessions, performance opportunities, speaker sessions and networking opportunities with established artists and their peers alike.
Our inspirational free Primary Prom concerts are performed by young people, for young people, providing first hand experience of live music-making in a fun and engaging environment at major concert halls right across the UK
A five day feast of live music! Following on from our Regional Festivals, hear 8,000 of the UK’s brightest young musicians as they are invited to perform at world-class venues across Birmingham.
MFY Connects celebrates the achievements of performers at our National Festival, by partnering young musicians with organisations who represent some of the key players in the arts and music sector and have a wealth of knowledge and guidance to offer.
There's lots to see and do beyond the main stages of National Festival! Running right alongside the National Festival, our Festival Fringe comprises a series of pop-up stages and workshop opportunities located across Birmingham offering hands-on experiences and sessions for performers to get involved with!
'Music for Youth Invites' creates opportunities for young people to take centre-stage at major business and industry events outside of Music for Youth's season.
