Friday Afternoons is a nationwide singing project led by Aldeburgh Music, culminating on Britten’s birthday – 22 November 2013 www.fridayafternoonsmusic.co.uk

This is an hour-long workshop led by Pete Letanka exploring the Friday Afternoons songs. Workshops will be appropriate for any age group and will be tailored specifically to the ability of your group. Pete will run a workshop that celebrates Britten’s songs whilst also bringing in a more contemporary twist, introducing modern day styles. No preparation needed!

Singing Workshop for Younger Children

Who for   Infant groups (aged 4-8)

Led by Rachel Staunton, singing tutor for the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, this session for infants will include fun songs and singing games which adults can join in too!

Singing Workshop for Juniors

Led by Esther Jones, singing tutor for the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, this session with junior age singers will feature repertoire from around the world and include tips on how to build your musicianship skills and improve your sound.
