Come and join Music for Youth at the largest youth music festival to celebrate the UK’s most inspiring young musicians. Birmingham will come alive with 5 days of extraordinary music, taking place across 3 world class stages and city-centre locations. With over 400 live performances, there’s something for everyone, bringing together music lovers of all generations. Come and explore…!

Choirs Groups of all ages and sizes singing show tunes, contemporary, pop, choral and classical pieces
World, Folk & Roots Steel pans bring a carnival atmosphere to the session, plus an assortment of folk, taiko and Chinese folk music
Brass & Wind Bands playing an array of contemporary and traditional band classics through to film music...from Doctor Who to Carmina Burana
Orchestras From small string and chamber orchestras through to full symphony orchestras exploring the whole classical spectrum…Bach to Shostakovich
Infants & Juniors Younger musicians presenting whole class creative work and a mix of singing, wind and brass bands, African drumming and instrumental pieces
Ensembles & Chamber A bit of everything! An ensemble of 12 harps, or a band of ukuleles through to creative percussion ensembles, along with chamber groups playing well known pieces from the classical repertoire
Rock, Pop, Funk & Soul Come along and listen to some of the nations best up and coming contemporary artists.
Jazz From big bands to small jazz ensembles, swing by and hear some of the best young jazz groups in the UK
