Music for Youth presents the world’s largest youth music festival. Entries are now being accepted for the Regional Festival Series 2014 - closing date - Monday 9 December 2013.
Not taken part in the Regional Festival Series before?
The Regional Festival Series is free to take part in and open to any type of group, style of music, and standard of playing. We only ask that you are a group of two or more musicians, aged 21 or under.
It’s a platform to share your music, listen to performances from other local groups and meet other musicians. Learn new skills and get advice on how your group can develop from our team of MFY Music Mentors who give feedback on all performances.

Taken part in a Regional Festival before?
We are currently developing the Regional Festival Series in partnership with all of the Regional Festival organisers. During this transition, there are some changes to our Regional Festival map, with some festivals not being available in 2014. If your first choice of festival is not listed, and you need help to find an alternative, please call us on 020 7759 1830. If you are able to travel to a different Regional Festival, you might be eligible to apply for a travel subsidy.
You can enter other festivals in your region if your usual Regional Festival is not available or oversubscribed. Alternatively, you can submit a recorded entry. Details on how to do this are available online at www.mfy.org.uk/coreseason/regional/recentry.
Updates on the developments of the Regional Festival Series and the outcomes of our work with Regional Festival organisers will be communicated on our website at www.mfy.org.uk.
