PRODUCER
MUSIC FOR YOUTH
UP TO £21K

Fixed term one-year contract with the possiblity to extend subject to review.
Based at MFY London office

Music for Youth (MFY) is looking for a Producer to join its team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for working with young people in the arts to be a key player within this busy and ambitious music education organisation.

Now in its 41st year, MFY is a unique model for locally created work to be presented nationally. Through its annual season of festivals and concerts, MFY’s vision focuses on access and excellence, working with schools, music services and the wider community.

With great people skills, a sharp eye for detail and the ability to prioritise short, medium and long term tasks, the Producer is part of a team delivering a UK wide festival series that is inspirational, challenging, exciting and educational.

Ideally you will have had some experience of managing projects for young people of all ages and diverse backgrounds and of working in the arts. You will have excellent commmunication and organisational skills, be a team player and be able to work confidently on your own and to deadlines.

With a creative approach to your work, you will maintain our reputation for high production values.

As a person you will be enthusiastic, flexible, have a great attention to detail, and be passionate about young people and music.
