Music for Youth are delighted to be attending Europe’s largest free-to-attend conference for music and drama education as it returns to London in February to celebrate its fifth birthday!

Over two days, the conference will offer more than 60 workshops, seminars and debates from award-winning teachers, academics and practitioners. Speakers from across Europe, the US and Australia will share best practice and current trends in music and drama education. Highlights from the 2017 programme include:
• Disney's ALADDIN vocal workshop
• Workshops on African drumming, gospel singing, body percussion and ukulele playing
• Diversity, inclusion and youth voice in national music education policy and practice
• Working together to get music at the heart of Primary Schools
• Keynote address from UK Schools Minister Nick Gibb MP

The exhibition floor will house over 150 arts organisations - from exam boards, publishers and tour agencies to suppliers, manufacturers and professional associations – allowing you to try out the latest education products and enjoy exclusive show discounts.

There will also be performances from young musicians, TeachMeets and informal sharing lab sessions, fire-side chats with industry professionals and networking opportunities with 2,500 of the brightest minds in arts education from over 40 countries.
