Music for Youth offers a range of free opportunities to get young people involved with, either as performers or as audience members. If you're someone who works in Music Education, or Education more widely, these are opportunities that you can enter your young people for, refer them to, and even bring them along yourself!
National Festival 2017
From 4-8 July we are running FREE hands-on educational workshops for both non-specialist teachers and leaders teaching music to 6 – 11 year olds, and their students, at the Music for Youth National Festival.

Infinity LIVE is a FREE music workshop for both non-specialist teachers, and leaders teaching music to 6 – 11 year olds, and their students, based on the Music for Youth and National Union of Teachers’ Infinity Back to Bass Resource Pack.
Bring your class to this special day of music making which includes:
A hands-on music workshop in the CBSO Centre led by Richard Frostick - teacher, workshop leader and choral director. Classes are asked to prepare a short musical phrase or rhythm in advance of the event that will be used in the workshop.
Free tickets will give you unlimited access to Music for Youth's National Festival where you can hear groups of inspiring young musicians perform in Birmingham's most prestigious concert halls. Check out the full programme here.

Get up and moving with music! Directed by leading professional music educators, the Interactive Music workshops are engaging and collaborative, inspired by the music genres of the day. Following the workshop, stick around to enjoy some FREE live music performed by some of the UK’s best young musicians in Birmingham’s most prestigious concert halls. Music genres featured on the National Festival Main Stages following the workshop include:
