If you are unable to attend a Regional Festival you are invited to submit a Recorded Entry. Not only will you now receive feedback on the recorded performance, but you will also be considered for inclusion at the National Festival. The deadline for submitting Recorded Entries is now Friday 20 March! The online entry form is now closed but if you'd like to enter a Recorded Entry, all you need to do is send us your recording, properly labelled with the Group Name, Number of Musicians and Age Range of performers. • Your recording does not need to be longer than 10 minutes and it is a good idea to include contrasting works.
• Please put entries for different groups on separate cassettes/discs and make sure that they are clearly labelled.
• We ask that each entry is preceded by a spoken announcement including the group’s name, group description, choice of music and any other information you can provide.
• Groups who feel their performance has an important visual element should send a video (VHS or DVD) recording in addition to their audio recording.
• If you wish us to return the recording, please enclose a SAE of the correct size and postage amount. In 2009 we will be writing to all groups entered via Recorded Entry with feedback on their performances.
• Please make sure that all recordings work before sending to us!
