Arts Award

Two million young people aged from four to twenty-one have taken part in Music for Youth events and you are invited to join them!

Music for Youth supporter Trinity Guildhall is working in partnership with Arts Council England in the delivery of the new accreditation scheme specifically for young people taking part in the arts. The Arts Award is a nationally recognised qualification and can be achieved at Bronze - level 1, Silver - Level 2 or Gold - Level 3. It recognises young people as artists and arts leaders. Taking part in MFY's festivals is a great opportunity to work towards an Arts Award as a participant or an audience member.

Entries to MFY festivals are welcomed from any type of music ensemble from a saxophone duo to a choir of sixty young people, from pop bands to music projects. We especially welcome groups performing their own compositions or groups led by young people.

The National Festival of Music for Youth and the Schools Prom have a huge variety of musical groups performing at them and you can find out more about these events and how to get tickets by clicking on the links. Find out more about entering Music for Youth festivals by visiting the Take Part page, or click the link below.

Details of other Music for Youth activities can be found on our events page.
